PANHANDLE EUROTECH AUTOMOTIVE
Meet Our Team
Robert
Owner
Robert Morton (Me) is one of our fantastic owners. Outside of work I worry and stress about work. I worry about my customers and if they are ok and I stress about weather or not I am doing a good job taking care of my team members. I also like to be outside, do crossfit, nerd out about my nutrition (Still over weight though) and play baseball and softball with my kids. I love to fish and hunt. I have been thinking about doing those things soon. I have a wife and 2 kids who I love unconditionally. If I did not work here there is a good chance I would have no family and be homeless. My first car was a 1978 Ford Thunderbird. Because of that, my second car came a week later and was a 1966 Ford Mustang. My Dream car is one that starts and runs every time I get in it and is safe and runs well. I have acheived my dream car and I am greatful.
Chris
Owner
Chris Lumpkin is our other owner. He and Robert are 50/50 partners. Outside of work he is an avid wood worker and tinkers with all kinds of odd things. He is married and has a lot of kids whom he forces out into the garage to tinker with him. They enjoy taking things apart to see how they work and using the parts of things to build something new. He is also a gun nut and knows everything about all of them. If he did not work here he would be running a wood shop full time. Most likely. His first car was a 1983 Chrystler LeBaron His dream car is is “K.I.T.T.” from Knightrider. Because he is a nerd like that.
Bob
Service Manager
Bob is our service manager. He is blessed beyond belief to be able to work at Panhandle Eurotech. Out side of work he has multiple hobbies. He dragraces his Dodge Challanger at the Amarillo Dragway on the weekends. He is into sports cards and has an extensive record collection. He and his brother spend time togather building Hot Rods. If he did not work in the automotive industry, which he has for 29 year, he would most likely be in computer programming and networking. He enjoyed it as a teenager and he did not know at the time it was going to revolutionize the world. His first car was a 1971 Dodge Demon because he wanted to copy Mark. His dream car is a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda.
Mark
Service Advisor
Mark is a fantastic service writer. He enjoys meeting new people and has a big heart for our customers and their needs. In his time away from work he enjoys shooting sporting clays and riding his 4 wheeler. He is very proud of his son, duaghters and his grand children. He will be retiring soon and he plans to travel, fish, and explore the back country. Mark’s first car was a 1970 Dodge Demon and his dream car is an Ultima GTR as seen on the original Top Gear series.
Dylan
Parts Manager
Dylan is our parts manager. He does all of the estimates, ordering, inventory, returns and stocking. He is fantastic at his job. Outside of work he is a gun nut. He is in a gunsmithing school and spends his time repairing and building guns. He is also into Brazialian Jiu Jitsu. He has a wife and 2 kids that love him dearly. If he did not work in the auto industry he would most definately be a gunsmith. In fact, we are worried he is going to try to leave once he becomes a lisensed gunsmith. His first car was a 1978 pontiac Grand Prix. Poor guy. His dream car is a 6th generation Toyota Land Cruiser. Shoot for the stars Dylan.

Evan
Technician
Evan’s Favorite thing to do outside of work is to ride his motorcycle, hang out with friends, and chauffeur his Golden doodle, Luna, around town for free pup cups while jamming out to the stereo. He is proud of himself for persuing his career as a technican and putting himself in a position to purchase a new home. His first car was a Cheverolet Cavalier that was dented on every panel but the roof. That car was handed down to his little sister who was able to finish it off. His dream car is a 1967 Shelby GT500 dressed up like Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds. That is one I would have to steal to own!
Braeden
Technician
Braeden King is our newest technician at Panhandle Eurotech. He has a great attitude and is eager. That is all we need. When he is not at work he really enjoys taking his family to baseball games. He has a wife and 2 sons, one of which just came into this world. He is very proud of his family and is a devout family man. If he did not work here he would love to ranch. He likes to be out doors and loves working with livestock. His first car was a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. He considers himself lucky becuase that is a newer car than anything the owner currently drives. His dream car is a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS.
Josh
Technician
Josh Ledbetter is one of our fantastic Technicians. Outside of being at work with his bubbly personality, he enjoys taking his 2 sons fishing, camping, hunting and off roading. He is a golfer. He practicies a lot. He still isnt any good but it is not from a lack of trying. He is proud of his 2 sons and being a father. For him they make life worth living and keep him motivated. If he was not working on cars he would be inventing things to help the automotive repair inustry run better. His first car was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant. He still has it. His dream cars would be a 1971 Hemi Cuda or a 1975 Ford F250 Crew Cab high Boy. Why do all of our people dream of owning an old car?
Jesus
Technician
Jesus Rodriguez is currently attending college to become a Mechanical Engineer. Having said that, since he is in college, he is very fastidious and decided to write me a detailed email to answer the questions for this website profile. Since is spelling and grammer are both of a college edjucated individual, I will do us all a favor and just paste it here.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Recently, I started to go to the gym more often during the week. My main goal is to get shredded and maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is also another outlet of mine that works for me like therapy.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that I am continuing my education at WT in hopes of receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. I am halfway through my collegiate career, and by the start of my last year in WT I will be considered as what the students would call a “Super Senior”.
If you didn’t have this job, what career would you choose and why?
I am unsure where I would land if I wasn’t accepted by Chris and Robert. I was in need of an internship in an automotive shop, and a mentor of great knowledge to teach me the technical side of the automotive industry.
What was your first car?
My first owned car was a dark blue 2001 BMW 325i. This car was my first biggest expense I decided to take during my young adult life. I bought the car from a teenager BMW fanatic who modified the BMW to sound and feel more like a race car. The best perk about the car was the exhaust; it was straight pipe from the catless headers all the way to the mid-section of the car where the exhaust was dumping. The car would pop every downshift, it was immaculate!
What is your dream car?
Not a logical or obtainable dream car at this age, but since I was introduced to racing video games at a young age, I fell in love with the Koenigsegg One:1. The One:1 name to the Koenigsegg is a statement of a marvelous engineering production of a track car producing one horsepower per every kilogram of weight.
